THE ART OF JOCELYN SARAVIA
About Me:
Hi, I'm Jocelyn Saravia, a Deaf Storyboard Artist. I'm based in Virginia, and I'm able to work from my residence in Central Virginia all the way to the DC Area. I'm familiar with the DC Deaf Community, and I'm happy to help!
I am immensely grateful for every opportunity I have to contribute to productions! I've wanted to be an artist since I was four, although I needed more confidence in the specific field. I fell in love with animation around 11 after watching John Kahrs's short film Paperman. The fusion of 2D/3D animation styles captivated me, showcasing the effort and artistry behind such a masterpiece.
I'm passionate about making positive changes in the art industry, hoping it embraces diverse ideas and perspectives from people's stories. This encourages everyone to step forward and share their unique narratives, whether about cats, people, or anything else. Let's dare to be unique!
I'm currently creating my own indie pilot called "The Resonant Era," a short speculative sci-fi alternative-history episode exploring a new storytelling lens.
