Kelly Sanchez, a brilliant and ambitious graduate researcher from the University of Rochelle, sets out on a research expedition with her classmate Kai Amamiya to solve the Global Energy Crisis. On the expedition, they discover promising minerals to solve the crisis. But the consequences of their work spiral out of control.
